The second reveal of December

An Undercover Dream ended with a lot of big reveals that lead the way into the fourth and final book of The Luke Bright Series. This month, I’m going to be discussing these four big moments and how they affect that final book.

Reveal 2: Luke’s new relationship

Luke and Vi finally got together at the end of An Undercover Dream, although they almost lost each other when it was revealed that Vi was being deported back to the UK. However, as we will see in another reveal, she’s not going there alone. It was a big, emotional moment and so many people around them were rooting for Luke and Vi to finally become a couple, and for Luke, finally letting someone into his life again was a massive risk and achievement too.

However, for the couple, whilst they’ve been in each other’s sights for a long time, the relationship part is very new for them. That means a lot of change and a lot of new challenges to face together, especially considering they’re planning on moving into Vi’s house with her family if they get back to the UK. It’s all moving very fast, and that poses a challenge to Luke, but to mainly Vi, as they plan to head back home. Also, the fact she’s sacrificed something so massive for him so he can be with his family again is something that will hang over them. In a sense, it’s Vi being Vi and putting her life on hold for the men in her life. Is it the best way to start a new relationship? That we will find out.

Neither one can expect the first part of their relationship to be traditional, as they’re facing being on the run, hard goodbyes and potentially emotional reunions along with the typical challenges of being boyfriend and girlfriend. However, these two are extremely in love and are willing to solve any issues between them. I mean, they kind of have to, Luke’s life depends on the strength of this relationship.

Luckily for both of them, it is an extremely strong one, and they’re soulmates. But in book 4, you’ll really get to see this relationship taken to the limits and what life dating a fugitive really does to a person.
