Summer is drawing to a close, but I have a very busy month ahead of me! As usual, on the first day of each month, I’m discussing how my writing life is going so far and what I hope will happen in the month ahead.

Firstly, I’d like to share some statistics for June and July. I won’t share my book sales numbers, but let’s just say, it’s been a success so far, and I’m extremely thankful to everyone who has helped me get this far and bought a copy.

June and July were two busy months where my proofreading continued, and I actually got a lot of writing done. I made some really good headway on my work in progress and with An Undercover Dream as well. I also released the first chapter on my blog which unfortunately is coming down today. But, this is because I have some good news coming up.

I can officially announce that An Undercover Dream will be released on the August bank holiday – Monday 26th August! It’s not far off at all, and August is going to be manic. Proofreading, ordering new copies, promotion, getting the launch ready, but I cannot wait. I love this book — it’s one of my favourites, and I can’t wait for you all to read it too. I’m really excited about this one! So keep the date in your diaries and keep checking my social media for details of where you can buy a copy.

Finally, with each 1st of the month blog, I’m going to share a photo of a setting in one of my books and explain a little about it, without too many spoilers! This is the final look you’ll get into An Undercover Dream before the book is released!

This is an image of what I envision one of the settings of An Undercover Dream looking like. Whilst I can’t reveal too much about this place, it’s the biggest part of the book, and a place that Luke can call his brand new home. The name of the place is very special to me, and you’ll find out really soon – although some crafty people would’ve already figured it out!
