Happy new year everyone! I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I begun this journey. So much has changed, but I’m still going to be posting on the first of every month as usual, but as you can see my header graphic has had an update in time for 2019! In these blogs I’ll be discussing how my writing life is going so far and what I hope will happen in the month ahead.
Firstly, I’d like to share some statistics for December. I won’t share my book sales numbers, but let’s just say, it’s been a success so far, and I’m extremely thankful to everyone who has helped me get this far and bought a copy.

December was meant to be a quiet month but in fact it became quite the opposite. It was the month I really started to get to work on book 3. Whilst there’s no time limit on to when this one’s going to be published (and I’m probably only publishing the one book this year!) the sooner I start the better. This book is one that needed a lot of work, so the first edit began with a lot of really positive changes. I can’t wait for you all to read it!
So, what am I hoping for 2019? For now, let’s just start with January as on Thursday I’ll be discussing plans for the year ahead. Honestly, I’m hoping for a quieter month than last January! However, I’m going to be doing some very similar things. I’m going to send book 3 off to be edited and make a start on the graphics and quotes as I always do with my books. I’m also going to re-read Atlantic Split and At Liberty To Live because it’s been a while since I’ve done that properly, especially since they’re now published.
Finally, with each 1st of the month blog, I’m going to share a photo of a setting in one of my books and explain a little about it, without too many spoilers!

A set of apartment blocks in Brooklyn, New York. Inside one of those apartments, Luke finally gets somewhere of his own to live – well, with a very familiar flat-mate. It’s a big step for him, one that really cements his illegal move to New York. However, check the book to see what happens next!
Atlantic Split and At Liberty To Live, the first and second books in The Luke Bright Series are available to purchase NOW! Please follow me on my blog and social media links below, and use the links on my website to purchase a copy of each if you have not done so. Don’t forget to leave a review! Thank you once again for taking the time to read this blog post.
N.A.K.
