Hi everyone and happy new year for tomorrow! I can’t believe it’s nearly 2025! I hope you all have a happy and healthy year ahead.

To think, 7 years ago I was getting ready to make the biggest announcement of my life. I still remember the nerves and excitement of telling everyone that I was going to embark upon this self-publishing journey. That I’d set myself a goal to get those first four books of The Luke Bright Series out and ready to enter the world. I had no idea back then what would follow, but soon came along The Signs Are Coming and The Snowflake Series not long after.

It has been such an intense seven years, and my life has been pretty much ruled by the timelines of getting a book (or two) out a year, and marketing post-release until it’s time to do the next one. Usually, this time of year, I’d be finishing up marketing and getting ready for editing in January, but next year will be different.

I’d love to tell you that I’ve been writing since I published the last book, but I haven’t because my next story still awaits me. Maybe it’s a good thing because a break is surely needed about now! But there’s so many things going on in the world that I want to write about, but I keep finding that I already have. The discrimination and senseless divides in The Luke Bright Series, the dangers of religion and power of rogue believers in The Signs Are Coming, and The Snowflake Series is basically coming to life with the right wing MTM trying to destroy England at every opportunity by pushing down the left wing snowflakes. So, for now, I’m not writing anything new.

It’s going to be a strange thing as I’ve always had something to write, and I’m pretty sure that it won’t last long. There’s so many stories to tell, that need to be told. But it may not happen next year, or the next, or for many more. It’ll happen when the time and the story is right.

So, as I’ve said before, this isn’t goodbye, it’s just the end of this era. It has been an absolutely fantastic seven years that have defined my life and I couldn’t have done it without all of you supporting me. Becoming a published writer is an absolute dream come true, and I am so truly blessed that this has made up part of my life. No one can take away that I’ve published 8 books. No one ever will.

Thank you again readers for your support on this amazing journey of a lifetime, and I’ll see you when it’s time for something new whenever that will be.
