A big month all round…

October 2020 – a pivotal month for both me, and Luke. It’s fitting that this will be the month where A Long Lost Time concludes in his reality, and the month where it gets released in mine. Yes everyone, A Long Lost Time is due to be released LATER THIS MONTH! Keep an eye out on my social media for the exact date!

It feels strange to know I’m so close to release day, like closure is coming on a series that has been such a huge part of my life. However, it’s only as I re-read A Long Lost Time in the final few stages of edits, that I realise we need books like these more than ever. As the world starts to force us to get more censored, despite being so pro freedom of speech, books which encourage people to stand up and fight are books we need to be following.

So what’s the plan for the rest of the month? Well, it’ll be the last few edits for me and then onto promoting this book. But it doesn’t end there, because there’s so much else I want to reveal about the book series, so watch this space for even more content about it.

Because, despite the series ending, I don’t think as an author I will ever be able to let go of it, nor do I want Luke’s tale to be forgotten because of how important he could be to young people. Now more than ever, we need influential young leaders – I really hope Luke’s going to be up there someday to guide and inspire others.

So, as the final countdown begins, I’m going to leave you with one last passage before release. One that will hopefully leave you with some food for thought.

“I wish I’d known a time when the war wasn’t part of our lives. It scared me that in only forty years, people who had been alive when the Atlantic Split happened would be dead, and those left would simply believe the stories they had been told; making the Atlantic Split an undisputed part of life. Americans and Brits didn’t associate and they never would. If people were just going to follow blindly and not even know why they were doing the things they did? God…as soon as I got back to the UK, I knew I’d have to start sorting this out, but it was going to be the biggest task I’d ever taken on and I didn’t even know where to start. I just hoped there were people out there who were as liberal as the friends I’d made and would want the world to move on too.” -Luke Bright-
