February 2019! A year ago I was getting ready to publish Atlantic Split. I can’t believe it’s nearly the year anniversary of the book going up online!

So, as usual on the first day of each month, I’m discussing how my writing life is going so far and what I hope will happen in the month ahead.

Firstly, I’d like to share some statistics for January. I won’t share my book sales numbers, but let’s just say, it’s been a success so far, and I’m extremely thankful to everyone who has helped me get this far and bought a copy.

January was a quiet month on the writing side but on the reading side it was not. I’ve been re-reading both Atlantic Split and At Liberty To Live – all ready to then read book 3 when it comes back from the edit, which I also sent off for this month. I’m hoping to get this back towards the end of February but maybe sooner. I’ve been busy in my personal life so I suppose it’s lucky things are quiet on the book front.

So, what am I hoping for February? As mentioned above, hopefully the edit comes back but I am going to start prepping for my promotion of book 3 which I am happy to say that that title and cover will be revealed on March 1st! Only a month away! There’s still a lot to do but I’m really excited about this one. It’s a more mature book than the previous ones (in some senses) and really sets up as we head on into the final book 4. Plus, that ending! So keep your eyes peeled!

Finally, with each 1st of the month blog, I’m going to share a photo of a setting in one of my books and explain a little about it, without too many spoilers!

As we move into book 3 territory, and actually in Luke’s alternate reality, book 3 does begin in February 2019, I feel it fitting to share this photo. I can’t say where he’s going but if you’ve read my book, you’ll know!
