It’s December, can you believe it? As promised, on the 1st of every month, I will do a special blog about how my writing life is going so far and what I hope will happen in the month ahead.

Firstly, I’d like to share some statistics for October and November. I won’t share my book sales numbers, but let’s just say, it’s been a success so far, and I’m extremely thankful to everyone who has helped me get this far and bought a copy.

The past two months have been so busy – I released At Liberty To Live at the end of October and that meant a very successful month. Busy, but successful. November too followed in the same way with the aftermath of release and though I told myself I would take a break, I’ve already started preparing book 3! It’s also been exciting living through life in parallel with Luke in his alternate reality. From Atlantic Split through to the At Liberty To Live timeline, it’s weird that now certain scenes are in “the past” but it’s a great way to live through and celebrate the books.

So, the last month of the year, what am I hoping for in December? I have a feeling now it’s going to be a quiet one. Time to settle down and reflect on what’s been a crazy 2018. I’ve published two books! A year ago this whole thing was just a dream and now it’s one that’s come true. I’ll keep going with book 3, and keep you updated with my progress. However, I’m looking forward to the downtime before it all picks up again in 2019.

Finally, with each 1st of the month blog, I’m going to share a photo of a setting in one of my books and explain a little about it, without spoilers of course. This one I feel is fitting for the time of year…

Winter in Brooklyn, New York. The home of Luke Bright’s American friends and the place his new life has begun in his alternate reality. His first Christmas away is approaching and it’s a day he’s dreading. Yet, the beautiful snow covered place he now lives in still makes for a beautiful setting – one he never dreamed he’d ever see.
